OVEON AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates the OVEON AI image restoration service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password.

Google OAuth: If you choose to log in via Google, we only collect and store your basic profile information, including your email address, name, and profile picture.

Images You Upload: To provide the Service, we process photographs and images you upload. These images are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure powered by Cloudflare.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.

Payment Information: Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your full credit card number or CVV on our servers. We only retain a transaction ID and subscription status returned by the payment processor.

Referral Data: If you participate in our referral program, we store your unique referral code and track successful referrals.

Security: All images you upload and text prompts you provide are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+) and stored in an encrypted object store (Cloudflare R2). Access is restricted to authenticated API requests only.

AI Processing: Images and text prompts are submitted to our AI restoration and narrative generation pipelines. These pipelines run on secure GPU infrastructure (Replicate) under data processing agreements that prohibit the use of your data to train public models.

No Training on Your Private Data: OVEON AI does not use your uploaded images, generated assets, or text prompts to train, fine-tune, or improve our internal or any publicly available AI models.

Retention: Your processed images and generated stories are stored in your account gallery for as long as your account remains active. You may delete content at any time from your dashboard. Upon account deletion, all associated data is purged within 30 days.

To process your transactions and manage your subscription.

To send you transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, password reset, restoration complete notifications).

To monitor usage and detect fraud or abuse.

To improve the Service's features and performance (using anonymised, aggregate analytics only).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information with:

Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery). These parties are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Google Limited Use Policy: OveonAI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process (e.g., a court order).

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and subjected to a different Privacy Policy.

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We also use analytics cookies (anonymised) to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service. You may opt out of analytics cookies via our cookie banner.

Users can request full account deletion and data removal by contacting support. Upon deletion, all associated personal data, uploaded original images, and generated assets (including fairy tales) are permanently erased from our PostgreSQL databases and Cloudflare S3 storage.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; and data portability.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 18. OveonAI is strictly intended for adults (parents/guardians) to create content for their families. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
